Tofuno Higa

Lovely high end handmade local tofu. Aa-saa (nori) and ラー油 (sesame oil flavored with garlic and chilies) the toppings are vegan. Tofu, not rice gets bigger for the larger sizes. Very popular eatery with long lines in spite of the high turnover. Often runs out of food before closing time so recommended to go early. Order rice with no topping if you are vegan. Make sure you try the soy milk - if you don't like it straight, try with soy sauce.

We visited around 7:30 (Thursday) in the morning. There were about three pairs of customers. In the store, about 12 pairs are put as a pair of 2 people.On the day, I received "Yellow tofu set 450 yen". If you're new to it or you've drunk too much on the previous night and have no appetite ... but if everyone goes, you'll definitely get there ... definitely the "elderly tofu set" is recommended. The menu says "porridge", but you can change it to regular rice. Fried egg, soybeans with soy milk, tofu with tofu and white rice. Everything is small, but enough for breakfast.Normally, if you make “Yushi Tofu Set”, you will be provided with a strong style of white rice with only tofu and soy milk, so if you do not like tofu very much, you will get tired of it. There are miso and soy sauce as taste changes ...At around 9:00, there is a high possibility that the "Yellow Tofu Set" is sold out, so we recommend opening around 7:30. I think I'll put it in soon.

There is quite a small amount, so if you ask for a super, it may be hard.Season with your favorite seasoning on the table.Ask your aunt if you don't know.We opened from 6:30 in the morning, but it was opened and it was full in 15 minutes. It's unlikely you can make a reservation, so let's wait a bit. Of course, cards and electronic money cannot be used, only cash.

We ate small tofu set, salted squid and octopus noodles. The miso or soy sauce was meant to be eaten, so I ate it with miso, but the miso and fluffy tofu were too good and very delicious. Healthy breakfast! Reservation is not possible, so be ready to line up! If you don't go early, the tofu will soon disappear. . . There is a little smell, but it is delicious enough to eat as it is. If you do not choose the amount carefully, it will be served in a fair volume even though it is tofu.

The best island tofu ever! I hava started my day with a very generous breakfast there. You can drink as much as soy milk, it is refilled. We tried Otoshiyori set and yushidofu which was in the light plate was so good!! It comes warm and you can mix the wheat miso with it. Mmmm, I will definitely visit there next time too :)

This place is located in the middle of the field. Their tofu is tasty, good for breakfast. Can enjoy the rich taste of the beans when you drink soy milk.

Whenever I go to Ishigaki Island, I always go there. It's cheap and delicious. The elderly set is just right for women.

The location is excellent. Despite being busy, the shop people are very kind. The taste is very gentle and can be enjoyed from elderly to children. I would like to use it not only for soldering in the morning but also for lunch or a little drink in the evening.

This place is a gem. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and it is almost a pleasure to wait in line with the lovely view. The tofu is delicious and all the food is wholesome. Either get the crunchy tofu set (salty, topped with nori), the tororo set (like an oyakodon but with tofu and egg yolk), or get the oyose (elderly set) that has a few things in smaller portions. We preferred the former two sets as they're more flavourful. The chili oil for 100 yen is a must!

A very local tofu shop. Very yummy while the price is cheap. I arrived at around 07:30 (it opens at around 06:30) and I have to wait around 5 minutes for a seat. There is a large car park out-side. Recommended to enjoy your breakfast here.
